Dr Peter Sylaidis
Dr Peter Sylaidis is a plastic and reconstructive surgeon who trained in Australia, the United Kingdom and France. He is extensively qualified: holding two general surgical fellowships (FRCS and FRCSI), two plastic surgery fellowships (FRACS and FRCSplast), and board certified by the European Board of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery (EBOPRAS)
Peter also holds a post-graduate diploma in head and neck surgery from the University of South Paris (DU-CCF) and Master of Surgery from the University of Adelaide (MS).
He is widely published with over twenty publications, seventeen as first author. Additionally he co-authored a CD-ROM entitled "Practical skin wound management" as a learning tool for students, GPs and trainees.
Peter performs his major operations at the Memorial Hospital. He is also a volunteer surgeon with Interplast, providing free plastic surgery service to developing countries.
At APSA Peter provides all types of cosmetic, plastic and reconstructive surgical procedures. His sub-speciality interest lies in head and neck plastic surgery, and he has established the first dedicated facial paralysis service for Adelaide.

Dr Darren Molony
After graduating from the Flinders University of South Australia in 1996, Darren Molony entered surgical training directly from his internship at the Royal Adelaide Hospital. Prior to entering Plastic Surgery training he gained additional experience in Colorectal and Rural surgery, Cardiothoracic Surgery and Intensive Care Medicine. Darren trained at all of the major teaching hospitals in South Australia with experience gained in all facets of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. In 2006 he gained his Fellowship in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery from the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons.
Darren is currently a Visiting Consultant at the Royal Adelaide Hospital where his primary focus is the management of Craniofacial Trauma, as well as streamlining the hospital pathway for patients with craniofacial, hand and general plastic surgery managed trauma. As a surgeon who received all of his primary and secondary schooling in country South Australia he maintains a special interest in providing rural patients with streamlined access to Plastic and Reconstructive surgical care. Darren's private practice includes all facets of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery with an interest in skin cancer surgery, elective and acute hand surgery, craniofacial trauma and paediatric plastic surgery, as well as microsurgery, cosmetic and general reconstructive surgery.
Darren consults primarily at APSA on North Terrace in Adelaide but also at Glenelg Community Hospital and Murray Bridge Soldiers Memorial Hospital. He operates at The Memorial Hospital, Glenelg Community Hospital, Murray Bridge Soldiers Memorial Hospital and Adelaide Day Surgery. As part of Adelaide Plastic Surgery Associates he provides a comprehensive 24/7 emergency plastic surgical service along with six other Plastic Surgeons

Dr Bernard Carney
Dr Bernard Carney is a Plastic and Reconstructive surgeon who gained F.R.A.C.S in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery in 2004 with post graduate fellowship training in burns at the Royal Adelaide Hospital and Adelaide Women’s and Children’s Hospital.
His current practice includes public hospital appointments at the Adelaide Women’s and Children’s Hospital (paediatric plastic and burns surgery) and The Queen Elizabeth Hospital. His private practice commitments involve clinics two days per month in mid north South Australia (Clare, Balaklava and Jamestown) and consulting at 18 North Terrace, Adelaide and Western Community Hospital. Bernard's main interests are in plastic surgery of the breast including reconstruction, hand surgery, paediatric plastic surgery, surgery for skin cancer and cosmetic surgery.
Bernard is involved in burns and plastic surgical education ranging from community education to nationwide burn education programmes and plastic surgical training.

Dr Anthony Porter
Dr Anthony Porter graduated from Adelaide University in 1990 with M. B. BS (Hons). In 2002 he gained a fellowship in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (F.R.A.C.S.), he then undertook post-graduate training in hand and burns surgery as a fellow at the Royal Adelaide Hospital, and Woman's and Children's Hospital.
Anthony Porter is currently a visiting medical specialist at the Burns Unit at the Royal Adelaide Hospital, where he consults in general plastic surgery with an emphasis on hand surgery and burns procedures.
His primary private practice is at APSA on North Terrace in Adelaide where he provides a wide range of plastic surgery procedures, he is especially interested in seeing patients with skin cancers, hand problems and burns. Anthony also consults at Glenelg Community Hospital and monthly at Broken Hill Hospital.
In addition to his clinical training, he is very interested in basic science research with four years of experience in cell and molecular biology. In 2000 he was awarded a PhD from Flinders University for a thesis studying neurophysiology. His research has been widely published in both clinical and scientific forums. As part of Adelaide Plastic Surgery Associates he provides a comprehensive 24/7 emergency plastic surgical service along with six other Plastic Surgeons

Dr Tony Moore
Dr Tony Moore is a highly respected Plastic, Reconstructive, Cosmetic and Laser Surgeon and the senior partner of Adelaide Plastic Surgery Associates.
Tony completed most of his postgraduate degree in Plastic Surgery in Adelaide, with special involvement in the Women’s and Children’s Hospital's Craniofacial Unit. In 1985/86 he completed his training overseas, working at Mt Vernon Hospital, London in the UK and the Eppendorf Clinic in Hamburg, West Germany complementing an all round training with specialty interests in facial surgery and cosmetic surgery.
Tony is credited with the introduction of laser treatments into the Plastic Surgical curriculum in Australia giving regular lectures and running training courses. He is an invited Member of the Faculty of the World Association of Laser Therapists and is regularly invited to speak as guest Professor at International meetings.
His private practice is primarily in Plastic and Reconstructive surgery with a large component of laser and cosmetic surgery. He receives many consultations from Australia and overseas.
Tony has always embraced new technology with a keen interest in computers and using the Internet to expand the communication abilities of the medical profession with secure transfer of patient data, voice and video. He has been actively promoting the delivery of South Australian health-care expertise to regional Australia, with regular video clinics conducted from North Terrace to rural areas.
Tony makes frequent trips into Asia and the Middle East for both voluntary and educational reasons. His voluntary work at home has included managing patients brought to Australia by ROMAC. Rotary awarded him a Paul Harris Fellow in 2000.

Dr Nicholas Marshall
Dr Nicholas Marshall is a Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon trained principally in South Australia and in the United Kingdom where he spent a year completing post fellowship training in Head and Neck Surgery and Breast Reconstructive Surgery and gained experience in the application of lasers in the treatment of vascular lesions and sun-damaged skin. Nick has also attended some of the foremost cosmetic surgical practices in New York and Dallas, Texas in the USA.
As a visiting specialist at Flinders Medical Centre, a university teaching hospital in the southern Adelaide suburbs, Nick has been involved in establishing a dedicated Head and Neck cancer service where clinics are conducted in conjunction with Ear, Nose and Throat surgeons, Radiotherapists and Allied Health Professionals which is an unique situation in Adelaide. A close liaison has been established with the Breast Oncology Service at FMC to provide comprehensive breast reconstructive services for both public and privately insured patients.
He is involved in teaching at both an undergraduate and post-graduate level.

Dr Timothy Edwards is a Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon who trained both in South Australia, and in the United Kingdom at the world famous Canniesburn Hospital, a dedicated Plastic and Maxillofacial institute which has produced many of the world leaders in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
Tim consults exclusively at Adelaide Plastic Surgery Associates, on 18 North Terrace, Adelaide. Tim has developed his practice to combine his focus on cosmetic and laser surgery with reconstructive surgery following trauma, disease, or congenital deformity. Tim regularly treats patients from around Australia and overseas.
