It involves tiny sub dermal injections into the armpits using a medication that blocks the neurotransmitters that stimulate sweat production, reducing the sweating to normal levels or stopping sweat production altogether.
The sweat does not "back up" and you will still sweat in non treated areas.
The treatment generally lasts for 6 to 9 months.
