Microsurgery

Microsurgery is used for transferring tissue (flap) from one area of the body to an area of need.

The flaps, blood vessels and nerves are subsequently joined to the recipient site using an operating microscope and microscopic sutures.

A high order of skill is required for this.

Apsa surgeons are experienced microsurgeons.  Microsurgery is reserved for difficult reconstructive cases.

If it's applicability to your situation the procedure would need to be fully discussed during a consultation.

Any surgical or invasive procedure carries risk.
Before proceeding you should seek a second opinion
