Wrinkle Treatments and Dermal Fillers

Here at Adelaide Plastic Surgery our anti wrinkle treatment is a purified protein that relaxes the muscles that cause wrinkling. Once the muscle is relaxed we are unable to use it to form the expressions that cause the lines and wrinkles that make us look tired or aged. Thus, over time we gradually smooth wrinkles and prevent new ones forming.
The effect usually begins to take effect within 2 to 3 days after treatment, but can take as long as 7 days in some people. The effects last from 3 to 6 months and ideally needs to be repeated for you to see ongoing continual improvement. The effects wear of gradually and without further treatment you will return to your pre treated state.

Most clients return to their daily activities immediately after the treatment. At worst, there may occur some bruising which can be covered with foundation or other types of facial camouflage. Our staff may provide you with this service if found necessary.
