Trauma Service

We offer a 24 hr 7 day emergency service for acute injures requiring specialist plastic surgical treatment

We deal with work related injuries (Work Cover), motor vehicle accidents (Third Party), sport and all types of domestic injuries including burns.

Motor injuries are referred to one of the major trauma hospitals first as they are initially best dealt with in a multi-disciplinary setting. The emergency departments contact us when the patient is ready for a plastic surgeon consultation.

We currently work closely with all the major Public and Private hospitals within South Australia, as well as the various Work Health Clinics and local General Practitioners.

The most common types of injuries in trauma surgery we perform are for hand surgery and facial trauma.
