Hyaluronic Acid (HA) is made from naturally occurring complex sugars, with no toxins, animal proteins, allergens or chemicals.
Hyaluronic Acid assists in skin hydration by attracting and holding water. It also combines with Collagen and Elastin to help provide your skin with both structure and support.

With this in mind, the Hyaluronic Acids we use have become more sophisticated, they lend themselves to very superficial work through to deeper volumisation, as they are injected artistically to ensure the most natural appearance possible.

Treatments take from 30 to 60 minutes in general and the results are immediate and long lasting without being permanent. 

At Adelaide Plastic Surgery we only use products that have been approved by TGA (Therapeutical Goods Administration).

After treatment you may experience the following

• Mild to moderate redness
• Mild to moderate swelling (greater volume of product injected)
• Oral area - moderate to significant swelling (usually mostly settled by next day, but may last up to 3 days).
