Hydrate & Plump

Our lips play an important role in the balance and symmetry of our face. Sometimes, as a result of genetics or the natural signs of ageing, you may find yourself looking to improve your lip’s shape or definition with augmentation. Our experienced team of professionals understand that when it comes to your lips, shape is just as important as size. Not only can they restore volume, but they can also use techniques to create shape, definition, as well as balancing any asymmetry.

Rest assured, whatever your reason may be, our experienced team will work towards achieving the results that are right for you.

Further Information

Treatment Details

Over time, we lose the shape and volume of our lips due to the decrease of naturally occurring complex sugars and elastin in our skin. The outer layer of your lips can become thinner and the cupid’s bow (the v-shaped area of the upper lip) flattens out, causing your lips to become elongated and lose their youthfulness.

Specific consistencies like softer products, are made up of the same complex sugars that naturally occur in our body. When they are administered into the lips, it replicates the actions of this naturally occurring sugar molecule by attracting and holding water.

Your Consultation

At Adelaide Plastic Surgery we offer complimentary, no obligation consultations with our experienced team of professionals.

During your consultation you will experience a full facial analysis, where we will tailor a treatment to your individual needs. We understand that when it comes to your lips, shape is just as important as size. Not only can they restore volume, but can use techniques to create shape, definition, as well as balancing any asymmetry.

As this treatment requires a prescription, during your initial consultation you will also meet face to face with one of our specialist plastic surgeons. That’s one of the benefits of coming to Adelaide Plastic Surgery – our surgeons are on-site and available to write your prescription and review your treatment plan.

We recommend that you allow 30 minutes for this consultation. Please keep this in mind when organising parking so that you don’t feel the need to rush. There is the possibility for your treatment to be done on the same day if time permits.
